Chenango Point Cycles is a well-established bike shop in Binghamton, NY. It serves both casual riders and serious cyclists with a strong focus on specialist bikes and service and repairs.


The challenges
The business was running a fragmented retail system comprising its Point of Sale, service management, inventory tracking and ecommerce.
The disconnect between systems made it problematic to monitor inventory and manage parts for the workshop jobs.
The cumbersome ecommerce set-up also made it difficult to generate more revenue through its website.
Ultimately, the lack of integration in the existing system was creating bottlenecks and inefficiencies, which was slowing Chenango Point’s growth and limiting operational oversight.
Identifying the gaps
