New in the January release
More control over how customers browse, buy and see your site
This month, we will be rolling out new Ecommerce updates focused on how customers browse, how promotions are shown and how to easily plan in advance. These changes are designed to reduce friction, cut manual work and help your site stay relevant as things change.
More flexible Collections for real-world browsing
Finding the right products quickly has a big impact on whether customers keep browsing or drop off. These updates focus on making Collections easier to navigate and more relevant to how your customers actually shop.

You can now use AND / OR logic when filtering collection tags on Collections pages. This gives you more freedom to group products in a way that feels natural.
We’ve also improved Collections navigation on mobile and desktop, helping customers move between product groups with less friction.
Each collection page supports a page title, meta description and page content, giving clearer context in search results and on the page itself.
You are also able to build Collections using keywords, discount thresholds and price ranges. That way, they stay accurate as pricing and promotions change.
Schedule products and promotions with confidence
Retail moves quickly and timing matters. These changes are about helping you plan ahead, so products and promotions go live exactly when you need them to.

You are now able to schedule product go-live dates, making launches easier to manage.
Banners also support start and end dates, so campaigns appear and disappear automatically, keeping messaging relevant without any extra effort.
Make discounts visible earlier in the journey
Discounts are most effective when customers see them while they’re still deciding what to buy. These updates make offers clearer and easier to spot across your Ecommerce site.

You are now able to choose which coupons appear on Find & Filter and product pages, so offers are visible while customers are browsing, not just at checkout.
Coupons can be assigned to Collections, keeping promotions consistent across qualifying products.
You’re also able to apply coupons against RRP, giving you more flexibility in how value is presented.
Ongoing improvements to platform security and stability
Not every improvement is visible, but reliability underpins everything. We’re continuing to invest in the foundations of Cloud MT and Cloud POS Ecommerce sites.

We’ve made huge leaps in modernising parts of the code that power Cloud MT and Ecommerce sites. This improves platform security and reliability, with some slight speed improvements as a result.
