Cloud POS update – July 2025

When things get busy, it’s easy to lose sight of what’s happening with open orders. To help your team stay in control, we’ve added two useful features to POS:

  • You can now set your own custom order statuses. This means you can label and organise orders in a way that matches how your team works.
  • If a returning customer has an existing open order, POS will flag it, helping you avoid creating duplicates.

Applying supplier discounts to a purchase order should be quick. You can access a quick tool in the purchase order that lets you apply a discount in just a few clicks.

We’ve also added a description field to the Wizard, so you can leave internal notes that make it easier for your team to understand what’s been changed and why.

You are able to set a due date when creating a purchase order, so you don’t have to go back in and edit it later.

It’s now possible to create a new item directly from the PO screen. This one’s come straight from your feedback in the Back Office.

You know what your checkout process needs, whether that’s speed or more detailed receipts. So we’re giving you more control over what prints from Cloud POS:

  • Choose whether card receipts print
  • Decide if order comments appear on 40-column receipts
  • Set preferences per register, so each till works the way you want

We’ve introduced more ways to tailor the Back Office to how you work:

  • You can now add links to your favourite Back Office pages, making it faster to get where you need to go.
  • Grid layouts are now even more flexible; you can resize columns across all grids to suit your workflow. With the new Back Office, you can save your layout preferences too, so it’s just how you left it.
