The new Back office is launching soon!
Running a retail business means juggling a lot. Stock, suppliers, pricing, staff and more. That’s why we’ve rebuilt Back Office to be faster, clearer and more flexible.
From 30 June, the new Back Office will go live with smoother navigation and a cleaner interface to help you focus on what matters most.
Read our in-depth breakdown of the changes coming to the new Back Office.

Smarter order handling in POS
It’s easy to lose track of where an order sits, especially when things get busy. We’re working on two new POS features to help your team stay organised:
- You’ll soon be able to create your own custom order statuses, so you can label orders in a way that fits your workflow.
- When a returning customer has an open order, your team will see a prompt in the point of sale to help avoid duplication.

Purchasing and pricing made easier
Less admin. More accuracy. Better margins.
Applying supplier discounts to a purchase order should be quick. Soon, you’ll have access to a quick tool in the purchase order that lets you apply a discount in just a few clicks.
We’re also adding a description field to the Wizard, so you can leave internal notes that make it easier for your team to understand what’s been changed and why.

More flexibility with receipts
You know what works best at the till. Whether you’re streamlining the process or capturing extra detail, you should be able to decide what prints and what doesn’t.
Soon, you’ll have more control over how receipts behave in Cloud POS, with new options that let you:
- Choose whether to print credit card receipts
- Decide if order comments print on 40-column receipts
- Configure each setting per register for full flexibility
Coming soon to Ecommerce
We are working hard on some new changes to Cloud POS Ecommerce designed to give you more control and freedom over how you use the platform.
The smoother checkout experience
Rolling out now!

Freedom over your redirects
Releasing later this summer
Soon, you’ll be able to manage 301 redirects directly in Cloud MT, making it easier to guide customers to the right products and protect your SEO. You can also control how inactive items are redirected, keeping the customer journey smooth and search rankings intact.
More powerful collections are coming
Releasing later this summer
Collections are getting an upgrade, with new content pages and improved tagging tools. It’ll be easier to organise your products, create dynamic groups, and keep everything up to date. You’ll also have more control over SEO, with simple access to meta descriptions, canonical URLs, and other key settings, all from one place.
Keeping your inactive products organised
Releasing later this summer
Product Archive is a new feature we’re developing that lets you tidy up your products without losing track of older items. Instead of marking products as inactive, you can now archive them, hiding them from customers while keeping them accessible if you ever need to bring them back in a cleaner, more organised way.
Branded 404 pages that keep customers on track
Releasing later this summer
A heavily requested feature on our feedback forum. Improvements to 404 pages are coming soon, giving you the tools to more closely match the rest of your site. You’ll be able to carry through your branding, including your site’s navigation, footer and colours, to create a more polished experience and reduce the number of lost visitors.
